The Careem Pay digital wallet will help 17,000 drivers to fast-track tips, bonuses, and guarantees by the end of July.
e& will invest $400 million into the Careem Super App, in line with plans to transform the brand into a global technology and investments group.
The announcement comes without any official explanation, though is thought to be due to a lack of regulatory approval.
Careem customers who have outstanding Careem credit or REWARDS points are encouraged to use them before March 25, 2022.
